UMAP calls studes for discovery camp in Taiwan

University Mobility of Asia and the Pacific (UMAP) opens its door for applicants for its two-week 2019 Discovery Camp to be held on August 4-17 in Taipei, Taiwan.
Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) External Linakges and International Affairs ELIA, last week, posted about the process of application for said mobility program, conveying that TAUians can join.
According to TAU-ELIA, nomination of participants will be until April 20, open for all qualified, non-graduating students.
The nominated students shall then be extracted until May 15, where they will have to complete all the enlisted requirements.
Meanwhile on May 30, the names of successful participants region-wide shall be announced.
Any qualified student from a partnering university of UMAP can join the discovery camp, which will conduct activities for discovering Taiwan's culture and tradition.
Each university, which basically is from Asian and Oceanian countries, can send up to two most qualified particpants only.
UMAP will only choose top 40 participants for the program; 10 names from Taiwan and 30 foreign students.
Interested students are encouraged to visit ELIA Office before April 20.
Aside from UMAP Discovery Camp, ELIA announced another opened student mobility program that will take place in Indonesia in July.
As of now, TAU has more than 70 outbound on-the-job trainees in Israel under Agrostudies, and two students in Canada for CANADA-ASEAN SEED.
